The Directorate for Environment and Natural Resources of Adjara Autonomous Republic is holding   public hearing meetings of the final EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) on the project: “Solid Waste Management in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara”. Dates for these hearings are set for 18 and 19 June 2009 in Batumi, Kobuleti and Chakvi.
